The Teens Who Care volunteer program gives teens ages 13–17Ìýan opportunity to volunteer throughout different departments at Anti-Cruelty. YouthÌýcanÌýearn service hours, hone job skills, learn about animal behavior, and more in this exciting hands-on volunteer program.Ìý

Program Requirements
- Must attend at least 3 Shelter Service Day meetings within the same year of the Teens Who Care session for which you are applyingÌý
- Able to commit to program attendance requirementsÌý
- Able to work independently or on a teamÌý
- Able toÌýlift upÌýto 25 lbs.Ìý
- Positive attitudeÌý
- Eagerness to learnÌý
- Professional demeanorÌý
- Commitment to Anti-Cruelty mission and philosophiesÌý
- Must submit an application
Program Responsibilities
Teens Who Care volunteers will provide support by helping with:
- Cleaning Assistance
- Enrichment Construction
- Office Assistance
- Special Event Assistance
- Plant Care
- Animal Socialization
